After having a netbook and laptop both burn out (with use of cooling fans) I decided we'd go with a desktop. No point in a "portable" computer that we "can" hookup at home, if it does a hari kari on us. This is just as described. I don't game, we just surf, check email, use documents, pictures, a little video on. It's perfect for all this. I had some trouble with setup -- because I didn't read the instructions carefully -- you have to input the code with certain keys. Duh -- it says that. If you read it. The CPU is smaller and lighter weight, which I think is great. Takes up less room and easier to move from place to place. Came with mouse and keyboard, which I didn't expect but appreciate. Both work fine. I'm more than pleased. Shipped quickly, as always w/ Overstock. Got what I expected & I'm happy.

I received the computer within a few days of ordering and couldn't wait to install and set it up. Got everything together and hooked up and thought everything was working fine until I tried to set up my home network and printer. I kept receiving error messages every time I tried to open the control panel. I returned this computer and will not be purchasing a refurbished computer again. Its not worth the hassle to try and save money. By the time I installed everything, tried to set it up and spent several hours trying to get everything working, then have to do the online return, print the labels, unassemble everything, repackage it all and drop it off at UPS, I could just wait a few weeks and save up more money for a new computer without the hassles.

I was disappointed that the computer didn't work When I opened the computer I found to blown caps on the motherboard. The computer itself was pretty beat up even for a refurbished one. The monitor worked and looked great.

I had used Overstock CHAT just to insure the description on the features were accurate. Technically the representatives are knowledgeable and thorough. It was plug it in and use. I loaded the software I wanted and added accessories without any trouble. Thedelivery was on time. I have not had to use the extended plan I bought.

The picture they have on here is correct, however, you cannot tell that the monitor is GIGANTIC and the monitor is small. Very outdated!! DINOSAUR!!!! Was packaged well when it came in the mail. That is about the only positive thing I have to say about it. What a waste of money!! Cheap and a huge dissapointment!!

I am so excited received computer rather quickly from when I ordered, excellent delivery. Opened the boxes everything in tact and in excellent condition. A few small blemished but other than that the monitor and computer lived up to the picture presented. I was able to start the computer right up with out any problems, speed more than I expected. i believe its all i was expecting it works good and a very good price although thought it would come with speakers and it didn't but came with a keyboard and mouse I am happy with it and with the service i have received from overstock. It arrived on time too.

I bought the Dell desk top unit for my mother to replace her aged HP notebook. She loves the Dell system. It had a quick startup and adapted readily to our satelite provider. I prefer buying refurbished products, as I know they have been gone over twice and QCed free of defects!
