Great computer. All I had to do was add a video card for gaming and I was good to go. I was mainly wanting a computer for gaming and it comes with enough ram and a great processor that allows me to have no problems with my gaming experience using this pc. Very excellent buy. It compares well to the speed of new computers but it has the tried and true, well liked pentium 4 processor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a decent pc at a terrific price.

Added a video card and maxed out the memory. It was running well before I did these upgrades. If you add a video card make sure you put in a low profile. No complaints, good product.

I've only had the computer about a month but it seems to be a very good buy. If you don't need the state of the art, then a referbed unit is as good as a new one. This is my second referbed computer and it wont be my last.

As a re-manufactured computer this far exceeded my expectation. It looks like it came directly from the factory. Low shipping cost is always a plus and arrived within the time frame I was provided. I am totally satisfied with this refurbished computer. I have one caveat to add, however. The computer appears to have a floppy drive installed in it; however, it is not connected. But, in all fairness, the description of the product at Overstock.com made no mention of a floppy drive being installed. I have no problem with that, but it just seems unusual to me that if there is a floppy drive installed, why not connect it?

This is the second one of this model you had to send. The first was in great condition and working well but would not shut down properly. The replacement just a nightmare. Way slow...Find it hard to believe this is a 3 gig processor. And it makes continual "growling" sound which is nerve wracking!! Would think about calling tech support but they were very little help with the first computer so, am not really looking forward to dealing with them again. Probably will just find a new pc somewhere else. Could not recommend purchasing a refurbished through Overstock ever again.

It took a full week to receive my computer from the East Coast and it was very hard to track. However, it was packaged very well and came as described. It was simple to set up and it works well. However, it runs with a fair amount of noise, not at all quiet as was advertised/expected. Further, I've seen some reviews and descriptions call this pc "lightening fast." I wouldn't agree. While the speed of the pc can be adversely affected by the type of internet service used, I felt it worth mentioning. Lastly and perhaps just a peeve, this pc is not a tower, as I believed it to be. It's a horizontal-type desktop. Overall, not a bad product for the dollar. Would consider purchasing again.

This product works great, came with what was posted on the site, and looks just like what you see in the picture. The case is older but it works just fine. We have been really happy with this purchase!

Take this with a grain of salt considering the computer I used to use was a pentium 3 with only 356mb ram. This computer so far is great, it's fast, really fast for what I am used to and would recommend this computer to anyone who asks. My ONLY problems was the keyboard that shipped was broken into 20 or so pieces and unusable and I still haven't gotten a replacement yet. And that the dell drivers were not a part of the package, I mean come on who doesn't want to format a fresh drive and partition it out and doesn't tell anyone the dell drivers were on the drive you just formatted! (I know, my fault!) But after formatting, partitioning, and finally finding the right drivers this puter rocks for that price! Thanks Overstock.com.

fan is like a jet engine on these Dells.. loudest I've experienced. the machine is peppy, but I already have to reinstall the Op sys because something's gong wrong. :/ perhaps its time to just forget about desk tops entirely

Great referb. The only issue was that the keyboard was broken. It's like someone snapped it in half. It wasn't for me because I already had a keyboard and mouse I wanted to use. The winXP install seemed to be just fine. There were no shareware programs. It was just the base windows install. It did only have SP2 so there will be quite a lot of windows updates to do.
