Bad screen
The notebook arrived with a bad screen though. Even on maximum brightness it was barely visible; so we had to return it. I've purchased a few E6400 and E6500 Dell notebooks in the past and they are generally very good machines that I continue to recommend. In fact, I ordered an E6400 around the same time (because the E6500's were sold out) and this other one works fine - no issues at all. This other (E6500) was just a bad one. But, even though it didn't work right, Overstock was wonderful to deal with on the return. They were hassle-free and prompt in accepting the return and issuing the credit.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? The image was a perfect match for the item.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? The notebook arrived with a bad screen though. Even on maximum brightness it was barely visible; so we had to return it.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I've purchased a few E6400 and E6500 Dell notebooks in the past and they are generally very good machines that I continue to recommend. This was just a had one.
