Customer Reviews
Was very pleased to find that when I got the puter it was a quad rather than a dual !!! No complaints here.
I was somewhat wary of buying a refurbished computer. This computer was shipped directly from Dell and it works wonderfully. There are several things I really like. The speed, the 2.0 gb RAM and the 500 gb disk. But what I really liked was that this refurbished computer DID NOT come with a bunch of pre-loaded software for programs, either trial versions or full versions. It arrived with only two CD's...the operating system and the drivers. That's it! So anything else you want on your computer will be what you load. (It also has Internet Explorer 8 as part of the Windows Vista Premium Home). The computer came with a keyboard and mouse. Nothing else..but then I didn't want anything else..in fact, I thought I didn't really need the keyboard and mouse. However, the keyboard is a USB port connection and my old keyboard was not so I did need it. I'm still learning about the Windows Vista product. There are features from XP that do not seem to be included in Vista, and those features that I liked are missed. I'll learn to find the work-around. But overall I do recommend this computer. It's more than I expected..and what more can you ask?
Let's see.....the 500GB HD alone would cost what, $150 ON SALE? Then the ram, which by the way has 4gb in it! Woohoo! Talk about fast! And Vista isn't at all as bad as it's hyped to be. I like it just fine. I'm pretty good with computers and have been nursing my old one but it kept crashing (with my wedding planning info on it) grr! I finally broke down and purchased this, and omg I am soooooooo happy! I'd have gladly paid a lot more for this. Sooooooo worth the price, no complaints what-so-ever here!
