A Learning Experience
The computer came shrink wrapped in plastic with a new cheap keyboard and mouse. Had a "jumper cable adapter so you could plug in your VGA. I opened the side cover for a look and the inide was full of dust and dust balls. Blew it out and fired it up to discover it booted...I think...but had no video out. How can this be "refubished" and be full of dust? Returned for a refund.

Works well but noisy
Computer with XP OS works very well. Is noisy at times when saving files, etc. Has vertical CD drive that is inconvenient if unit is stored in lower area of computer desk as "open" button not easily felt.

- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Not sure, since it is noisy when starting up, saving files, etc.

the only downside to this purchase was the keyboard not functioning and having to wait over a week to recieve another one. when a mistake is made like that it should be shipped immediately and not sent ground which takes a long time..

- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? no.. the keyboard that came with it did not work.. many of the keys were not working. had to wait 8 days to send a new one.

Good little machine
Really good - easy to set up and install. Runs fast - much better than my other computer plus its a Dell - cant get better than that
