I shopped around for weeks when I decided I was going to buy a laptop for school. Manufacturers put their products on sale all of the time and it seems like a good idea to buy direct, but when I saw this laptop on Overstock I couldn't believe it. I did some research on refurbed electronics and it almost seems like it's a better idea to buy refurb than new. I've not regretted pulling the trigger on this purchase at all. This is a beast of a laptop with its Core i7 processor. It runs any business/educational software flawlessly and has enough power left over for gaming. I've been running MSDN development tools and databases and get performance comparable to my desktop workstation at the office. I've run Minecraft on high settings with a local Minecraft server in tandem and aside from a little bit of stuttering during saves, it's a stable and pleasant experience.

Everything was fine until 7 weeks following delivery of the computer. I now get the message "This copy of Windows is not genuine." I paid for Windows 7 Professional but only got a review.
