The computer I received had a packing slip addressed to someone else, but the product matched. I checked with customer service and they assured me this was no problem as long as I received the right product, but I sort of feel like that was an indication that my computer had be returned once, already. It's marginally faster than the old Dell that it replaced, but continuously shuts off on its own, quits recognizing the mouse and monitor, etc. It runs very loudly when being used for anything more heavy than running a notepad file. Overall, I'm aware that it is refurbished and I didn't pay too much for it, so I can't be terribly upset. It still can run Microsoft Word, browse the Internet, and run very low quality video games. It makes a good guest computer, or something other family members can use when the main computers are in use. Next time, I'll just spend the extra money to go new.

I am a first-time Overstock.com buyer and I have had the computer for about a month. It has worked just fine. I was able to plug it in and go with minimal setup. I love the fact that it comes ready to go without all the pre-loaded, commercial software (except Windows XP). I loaded my own anti-virus and other local programs with ease. I was able to install my own graphics card with no problems. It runs fine with the included 512MB RAM for the internet and basic office usage. It has a total of four expansion slots for memory that I plan to upgrade up to 4GB (4 x 1GB). In my opinion, it is an excellent purchase for the price. If I am ever to be in the market again for a computer, I will defintely check Overstock.com first!

Product arrived quickly and in great condition. I was concerned about buying a refurbished product but after using this computer I won't think twice in the future. Great home computer at a good price!

I received the computer tower with-in days of my payment~~needless to say it was much sooner than I had anticipated~~And it has been FANTABULOOUS!...We really enjoy the efficient speed and quality of our refurbished computer and the price was the real kick in the bonus pants. =-} Smiles all around.

The product was as advertised. It also had a new COO sticker and a Windows restore CD for MS. Excellent product and shipment arrived on time and well packed.

If you are looking for a good value in a refurbished pc, these Dells are excellent! I have two and they are performing very well.

Very nice computer for the $'s. I needed another computer for the guestroom of my home. I am a Dell person so when shopping I wanted to be sure that a refurb be a Dell. This one does everything I expect it to do. Quiet and efficient. I had extra memory from another Dell that I presently own. Added those to the system, increasing from 512 to 1.5 GB. I saw an immediate improvement. I also added a DVD reader/writer that I currently had plus an additional harddrive. Highly recommend!!!!

Excellent service, well packaged, and the computer could almost pass for new. Not much documentation included, but the directions included are quite adequate to set up the computer and get it running. It has a simple system for opening up the insides to add memory or other items, no screwdrivers or tools needed. Great value!

The overstock side was great, received my computer in 4 days after ordering, but loaded the computer and it was laboring and the next time i booted it the Primary drive was gone... had to send it back, i am awaiting my replacement computer.. Hopefully it will be a better one than the original.

I was worried buying a refurbished computer online but I am very happy with it. It was very easy to set up and only had what I needed loaded on it. It wasnt loaded with a bunch of junk like a new computer usally does. You get much more for the price. I am glad I bought this computer.

Good unit for cost. Easy to install. Mouse & keyboard are rubbish, but overall a good unit. Comes with a SATA hard drive with a very short interface cable. Use care if opening case. Plenty of expanion slots, with 2 SATA and 2 IDE ports.

I got this computer DELL gx270 to replace the one that crash. It was sent in very well packed . the windows xp pro was great . Installed OS system and key board, mouse worked great . The only thing i wish it had was an DVD/CD rom . I never thought i would fine system like this for so litlte price. I wil be customer for ever.

This is a great product for the money. It is used as a work station on a LAN and has great functionality. The hard drive is small but the XP pro platform is rock solid. No vista here!

It is as good as I had wished for except 2 problems:The mouse that came with it does not work well, very erratic and jumpy. After cleaning the ball and adjusting the settings, still no better so I changed it out to my old mouse/keyboard.And the USB port in front is very awkward to find and get at. It points down - what's up with that??!!

The computer can promptly after my purchase, with a keyboard, mouse, and instructions, the only bad thing I could complain about is, the installation CD for refurbished Windows XP Pro must of had gleeches in it. The computer was working fine until I installed the CD, but lucky me. I downloaded a free update and it solved the problem.
