Although nothing was wrong with the old Dell monitor I purchased 4 years ago, I decided to upgrade from the heavy, bulky old type to a new thin LCD style. Picture clarity is amazing (I didn't realize how UN-amazing my old Dell monitor was!). Color and graphics are top-notch, too. This monitor was exactly what I was looking for. I still had an old dinosaur of a monitor that took up virtually my entire desktop. The new Dell monitor matches the rest of my Dell computer hardware exactly in color and style. The product shipped to my front door in less than 5 business days which I considered outstanding customer service. As everyone else who has purchased this monitor has commented, it is indeed not the round base in the picture but a backwards v-base. The v-base takes up less desktop space than the round base. I vehemently recommend this product to others.

It was working great until just now when it keeps giving me a black screen, then comes up with a message GENESIS DELL PERFECTION. I didn't think I was going to be able to send this message. it did it about 5 times but seems okay at the moment.

Very nice monitor. Clear, Bright, Fully adjustable colors and contrast..also has auto. setting..nice . Beats the crap out of my 47 lb.full size,10 year old monitor!! Looks almost new. No issues with case,screen.etc. Even has built in speakers(though i am not using them) a nice bonus.

We purchased a refurbished Dell computer (CPU) a few months ago and were so happy that when our old monitor when out we purchased this model again a refurbished Dell unit. We have had no issues with either product and would highly recommended refurbished Dell products. We are very happy with the picture and feel it was a great value.

I have had more trouble out of the computer system I bought here than any i have ever owned. It is now Geb 2010, and the monitor has went out and I bought it in July of 2009. will be returning it for repair.since i bought the 2 years service plan also. glad i did that
