I was skeptical about this card reader due to how generic it looked, but I took a chance and this card reader is great!!! Its easy to use and the speed is great. I'm really happy with my purchase. Awesome!!

Works great in Linux. I'm able to get a transfer rate of about 16. 5 MB/sec from it.

This reader is a cheap, quick and even more portable alternative for downloading pix to my Mac. It is a stretch on my computer desk.
