mufkins from LA, Rating:5.0I am an advanced beginner adult cellist, and was having some issues with keeping time. My teacher had me using my old tiny electronic metronome (because that's all I had) and I just could not keep time to it at all. He suggested that I get the old-fashioned wooden kind with a pendulum, so I went on line to read reviews and shop, and that is how I found this metronome (there are many excellent reviews at the other big shopping site, but the price here was much better.) Some of the features that convinced me to spend so much on a metronome included the ability to choose a 'voice'. There are 4, including an old-fashioned metronome sound, and also a voice counting 1-2-3-4 etc. My ability to stay with the tempo improved 100% almost immediately with this metronome, in part because it is so easy to hear. The other feature I really like is the ability to dial up the tempo quickly and easily, without having to click up every beat - you just turn the dial. I also like the ability to use h...
