The CP550SL Home and Office Series UPS is perfect power protection for individuals running a stand-alone PC in their home or office. It includes PowerPanel PE (TM) Power Management software which monitors the vitals of the UPS and will safely shutdown your system in case of a power outage. Composite IC circuitry offers advanced lightning protection and also guards against surges, spikes, sags, brownouts and other power abnormalities. I've bought dozens of these, and find them very reliable in an office environment. You can't beat the 3 yr warranty for this price either. Overstock also has been VERY quick to ship these to me, usually receiving them in 2 to 3 business days, using their standard extremely low cost shipping....sometimes next business day (wow).
