The product is good so far. I haven't had too many power outages to really test it yet, but I have switched off the circuit breakers a few times and my computer was fine all throughout. I just have to put the unit where the kids can't reach; the other day my daughter just walked up to it and turned it off right while I was in the middle of working on the computer!
