I have a guest bedroom that is furnished with a depression area bed and dresser set so I wanted something that looked old timey. This certainly doesn't look like it's from the 1920's but it still fits in the general decor. It was REALLY easy to put the stand together and operating the radio/turn-table/tape deck/CD player are all just as painless. Some might not like the fact that there is no remote control but the fact that I can finally play my LP's far outweighs the fact that I have to get up to turn up the volume.
product was darker in color than the picture but overall very stylish. Missing the bolts to hold the record dividers in place but those can be bought at any hardware store.
I had high expectations of this stereo. The directions were wrong on how to put it together so the unit was very unstable. The actual sound for phonograph records came out very tinny and poor. I had to buy additional speakers to enhance the unit's sound and then found that the speaker connection in the back was loose and had to jiggle the connector to find just the right spot to make the speakers work. Overall, I was disappointed.
this is the first time we purchased an all in one unit that includes a record player so we were not sure what to expect. the picture and description helped us buy it It was very easy to assemble and looks fantastic. One of our primary uses is to listen to AM radio which it does extremely well. The cd sounds very good too. We are most pleased and recommend to anyone seeking a classic look and great price!!
