As my father-in-law had a ton of records, but no record player, thought this would be a great gift for the family to enjoy some of those classic albums. Since we did Christmas early while we flew out to visit them for Thanksgiving, we got to check it out (had it shipped directly there). It shipped in a secure box & was very nice looking - pulled it out of box and was set up in all of a minute. Records were slightly crackly, nothing too bad though...and pretty typical with turntables anyways. All in all - great deal for what it is, especially if you are just looking to occasionally enjoy an old album.
