I have yet to use the remote that came with the Cradle, however, the Cradle itself is very useful since my CPU is at the bottom of my desk. The Cradle allows me to plug in my Ipod and use it on the shelf where my monitor sits.

You can't plug this into an outlet, and the remote usually does not work. Basically you are paying for something to prop up your ipod. Don't waste your money. This is the first time I have written a bad review.

I agree with the others that this cradle & remote works very well. None of the adaptors fit the 3rd Gen Nano, but it will dock just fine without an adaptor. The description says "The iPod's volume indicator does not appear when using the remote to change the volume.", but it does appear with my 3rd Gen nano. I use it with a usb wall socket adaptor to charge and play on my home stereo system. Only drawback I've found is that the usb cable is rather stiff and doesn't always engage fully unless you wiggle it a bit. But replacement cables are easy enough to find.

This docking station works great. Fits the Nano 3rd generation, just don't use an adapter. Liked it so much I bought another one.

I searched for a long time to get a nice docking cradle in black for my 30GB Black Ipod. Majority of the ones I found were the basic White. The Instein is a nicely made product and the added remote is not only handy , but very useful. Excellent workmanship - I would truly recommend this Docking cradle - the price is just excellent!

This little device is so awesome. It's everything you'd expect a docking station to be, plus, it is very stylish and easy on the eyes. Not at all like a cheap charger or power adapter. We had it out of the box and working in less than 20 seconds. The cradle comes with adapters in several different sizes. We connected a mini stereo jack (not included but can be purchased at radio shack for about $3) which we ran to the "line-in" connector on the PC sound card. Now, not only will the PC charge the unit but you can enjoy the music while it's charging. Very cool!!! If you're looking for a wall charger for your I-Pod, I recommend you spend a few more dollars and treat yourself to this instead. You won't be disappointed.

Its great to have this constantly plugged into my computer so all I have to do is drop in the Nano to charge it or load something new. And it comes with adapters to fit all sizes.

I love the easy use of the docking station. All you gotta do is just drop your Ipod in and go. I use it to charge and to transfer music and don't have to worry about plugging and unplugging cables when i'm in a hurry. The remote is a good feature because when I have it hooked up to my laptop I don't have to go to the computer to change to another song. Overall it's very useful!

The ipod doesn't fit properly, so you have to put a piece of cardboard in the back to make it so you can hear the music.

This system has bright, clear, Excellent sound. It is a great value for the price. I like the portability as well as the option to plug in. The remote control is wonderful asset. I wish I had seen this before I purchased another, more expensive and lesser quality product!

Works great. Charges the iPod and syncs up iTunes & the iPod. Haven't tried the remote yet, don't really need it since I play iTunes through my computer. Recommend this cradle if you want to charge and sync your iPod.

If you want a great way to hook a NANO to your entatenment systerm like I have, this is the easiest way to do it, and you get a remote to control it with.Tthis is not a 5* item but a 10* item in my book, and you all know what kind of book a whitch keeps. LOL. " Just a side note FYI " (Oh and for all you out there that don't know me. I am also Microsoft Certified and well as degreded, so I do know what I am talking about when it comes to computers and electronics.) Nothing worst than comming up against an inteligent woman.HAHA.
