This thing is cool... brought my monitor off the desk and into the air,. Easy to install. It came with both types of mounts, which was very nice as I was afforded the option as to just how I wanted this thing to hang.

I loved this arm until I could not get the neck to stay in the desired position. It works ok but I am disappointed in the strength and wish it performed better.

• How did the image on site compare with the actual product? looks strong
• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? maybe a glitch but packaging was fine
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. the neck near the monitor mount is weak and will not hold steady.

I'm using this mount with a 23" wide-screen monitor on a solid teak desk, and it works perfectly. Adjusting it can be awkward at times, but once you've got it in the position you want, it looks very slick, gets the monitor off the desk and opens up a lot of real estate. It maintains a very stable, solid hold on the desk surface, has a wide range of adjustment for a variety of desktop thicknesses, and has the flexibility to easily allow me to flip my monitor between landscape and portrait orientations. The price is right, and the mount exceeded my expectations.

This desk mount met all of my needs. I have a 27" monitor which weighs 19 lbs and which occupied a lot of desk space so elevating it was the right thing to do. The Cotytech handles the weight well. I had to use a pair of padded pliers to tighten the settings enough to hold position, but that was no major effort. I am satisfied and the price was right for the function fulfilled.
