not for Samsung monitors
I purchased this monitor mount for my new Samsung monitor. This monitor requires a square section in the back of the monitor to screw into the mount. My new monitor doesn't have that. The picture made it look like the mount would clamp the top and bottom of the screen to hold it in place. Other than that it seemed to be a good product.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? I thought this monitor mount would clamp the top & bottom of the screen. It does not.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? it seemed to be fine

Sturdy, Stable, Looks nice
Purchased this monitor stand to hold a 24" Samsung SyncMaster. It does so with no problem at all. The desk clamp holds securely and was very simple to install (if you can even call it that.) In addition, I like the cable-routing areas that allow the cables from the monitor to be kept neat and out of sight. I had previously purchased two lower-grade versions of this stand--also from Cotytech--and have been very happy with these. But this version is even better because the cable routing is hidden and it has vertical adjustment as well as horizontal and rotational. My only gripe about this stand is that I wish it adjusted a little higher vertically, because my seat sits a little high. Other than that, buy it

Great Choice!
I was having a hard time deciding on which model to choose for mounting my new 26" monitor. I finalized on this one because it provides extra height adjustments right at the back of the monitor. It turned out to be a great choice! All the adjustments are extremely smooth and I can slide up and down my monitor very easily. My desk looks more spacious and neat as well. I'm very happy with the product!
