This might not be the cpu for a techie. But we bought it to replace the one fried by the internet service. My husband, although not such a willing participant, has to use a computer for a few things (I suspect browsing the auction sites more than anything else! lol). This one will be way more than he needs. Just talked to him and they're getting things set up. It seems there is at least one usb port not working....not a problem at all for him. All seems to be going well. As always, the delivery from O was fast. And I appreciate that I had an email this morning notifying me that it had been delivered. It's always a little worrisome that delivery might be made when you're not home..... So....good product .....good price .....great service = happy camper. Thank you Overstock!

Computer in like new condition inside and outside. Couldn't have been better. Updates me from XP to Win7. Hard drive larger than I could ever need. Only negative, better not to include keyboard and mouse and lower cost a couple of dollars. I purchased wireless set. There are 10 USB ports on this unit giving room for any equipment requirement.

Pros: small but mighty! sff (small form factor) saves lots of space lots of USB ports (8) fast ethernet, 1GB 800mHz system bus, means fast traffic throughout the machine. fast Intel Core-Duo, chipset has been around a while, unsure which variant this one is, definitely FAST 750GB sata drive is great, more than adequate unless you have hundreds of videos, millions of songs and photos, etc Produces great graphics (22" widescreen, not included) Produces great audio, headphone jack only however Windows 7 Professional is a plus, includes recovery DVD, essential Great Value: You can find some 755's cheaper, but not with 4GB memory, Huge drive, fast dual processor. Fine, fast, high capacity all-around daily 'puter for home and/or business, runs cool and quiet, Video and Audio probably not gamer quality Cons: DVD/rw died after little use, but easy to find a low-cost replacement (I use externals anyway) Keyboard & mouse are cheap, but you save bucks with this system and can afford a nice MS wireless Kybd/mouse combo. Rear Audio output port muted, but front Headphone jack works fine, rich sound

Pros It is fast, and 1G of RAM is excellent It runs all the games and graphics intensive apps smoothly Wireless is Stable and reasonably fast. It contains bluetooth although didn't get to test this. Many market choices, Amazon, Lenovo, Android. It has buttons for power, Screen Orientation lock, Volume. Screen lock for one Cons Does not come with a micro HDMI to HDMI cable. Does not have a USB port for connecting memory sticks and peripherals. The description points this out, but it is still a missing feature. It does not use USB to charge. It has its own non standard connector. There is no information about an ICS update. Random reboots with the original firmware, but the available update fixed this issue. In general this is a good tablet once it is updated to the newest software.

- Installation is easy plug it in put the windows 7 Cd in and your good. I love widows 7! *DISCLAIMER It will restart a lot and shut off because there about a million updates especially if your using a bunch of usb ports. It will have to install all the drivers. It took couple of hours until everything was updated/installed but it runs fine and very quiet. I'm happy with it. Great price for this machine (= (My old pc was a windows vista HP 2.4ghz 3gb ram) .............. This was a great upgrade for me. It's perfect for gaming! I upgraded the memory to 8gb of ram for around 80$ and got a new nvidia graphics card for 200$. I can play DCS world flight simulators, black ops, skyrim..... you name it I can play any game on steam easy. My total investment was just under XXX$ .... no need to spend in the thousands for a gaming pc .

Dell OptiPlex 320 1.8GHz 2GB 750GB Win 7 Desktop Computer (Refurbished) is what I ordered. But got the Dell OptiPlex 330 1.8GHz 2GB 750GB Win 7 Desktop Computer (Refurbished). This machine is fast. My old machine is a Dell Dimension 83003.2 3GB 350GB Win XP MCE 2002 SP2 Mini Tower. I have been using this machine now for about a month. I find it somewhat hard to get around Win 7. Going to help a lot. Once I look something up I find it easy to remember. All my external hardware I have (DVD Re-writer, USB Wireless adapter) is loading quite easily. Except my printer had to go find the Win 7 drivers but now works great. Was able to load my MS Office 2003 Pro. Impressed at how fast IE 11 opens. Count 1000 1 1000 and it opens, Chrome is 1000 and it's open ready to use. IE 8 on my other machine opens in 1000 1 1000 2 1000 3 1000 Yes I would recomend this to a friend.

This computer was packaged as if it were new. Included was a document explaining the refurbishing process and listing all of the tests it "passed." Each component was either wrapped or contained in plastic, and some were also in their own boxes (the keyboard and mouse). Here are some details that I would want to know if I were considering buying it: 1. It is NOT a tower; I believe it's meant to sit horizontally. I'm sure you can use it vertically if you want. But the design is horizontal and the DVD drive is oriented that way. It's a small form factor computer, which means it's not as large as most. Very nice size! 2. The box actually states that the hard drive is 1.5 GB, which is, I assume, why the description on Overstock lists that. This IS an error, the hard drive is 1.5 TB. 3. The keyboard and mouse included with the unit I purchased are an off-brand -- iMicro. The keyboard has a smaller backspace button and may have some other less-than-convenient features. I made my son take it and kept the keyboard I had with the computer I passed to my son. The mouse seems to work okay. But if you're expecting a name brand (as I would with an HP computer) you might be disappointed. I don't know if this is true for all of these; maybe when it was refurbished they had to replace the originals for some reason, I don't know. 4. This computer does not appear to have WiFi -- it certainly doesn't have an antenna. It doesn't advertise WiFi, and I don't need it since I'm right next to the router and a wired Ethernet connection is faster anyway. I'm just pointing this out for those who didn't read the fine print. 5. The other thing lacking is an HDMI port. It has VGA. It does have traditional ports for non-USB mouse and keyboard, though the mouse and keyboard included were of the USB variety. The computer has 10 USB ports so you won't be scrambling to find a place to plug in your camera. I am very happy with this purchase, and also with the quick turn-around time. Free shipping and a holiday weekend and I still think it only took 2-3 business days to get here.

Delivered earlier than projected. Worked out of the box as expected. Nice to be able to get a PC with Win 7 although it did need quite a few updates, which took awhile to install. I use wifi to access the internet and had to first install drivers for my wifi adapter before I could access the internet to download updates. I didn't have the adapter driver CD anymore so I had to use another computer to download the driver to a flashdrive and then install it on the new PC. Took a little time but it all worked fine. I have been running the Dell a lot, ripping and burning CDs, uploading photos, etc. with no problems at all. The keyboard that came with it is extremely cheap so I am using one with a better feel but I like the micro mouse very much. The USB ports on the front are upside down from normal but that's not a big deal. Overall, for the price this is a very good computer.

I was a little surprised at the physiical design as the previous "desktop computers actually fit under the desk on their side but this on is designed to sit on top of the desk because of the way the DVD/CD drive and USB ports are located. It's not a problem but unexpected.

When I was looking for a desktop to replace a loooong chain of laptops, I landed on this one, the HP 6005 Pro. For one, I wanted an AMU computer which I could put the Phenom II processor in, and be able to expand up to 16 GB of RAM. In addition, this computer has all the PCI slots I'll need for what I want, and three times as much storage as my laptop did. So on screen, it looked good. It didn't hurt that Overstock was also selling it tax free and with free shipping. It was also the cheapest price for this exact computer (a lot of websites have it, I guess this company is refurbishing a lot of these.) As I said, on screen, it looks good. So I ordered it, and got a delivery date of 4 business days from when I ordered it, and despite the product being in processing for three days, they did deliver it on time. From what I can see, O.co isn't GREAT at delivering certain things on time, but this is an item you can be sure you will get. In person, it's really nice. Mine did have what looked like a sticky spot where there was a sticker or something on it, but otherwise it was flawless. It is packaged safely in the box, so you don't need to worry about impact issues (at least from after it was boxed). It's performance so far is good. Because it comes with Windows 7 32 bit, you only have 3 GB of usable RAM, but 4 GB installed, with 1 GB reserved for certain other processes. If you don't know what this means and you just need a daily computer, then this computer is for you! It is likely you will not even ever fill up all 750 GB of space! A couple things to note, as reviews (from many websites, not just this one) will say, the computer comes with nothing on it. At all. If you open up your task manager, there are only three or four tasks running from the get go. You need to connect to the internet before you even get anything started. I tried playing FreeCell before I had my wifi adapter, and it would lag because I didn't have the graphics driver installed. I went into Windows Update and had to install 139 updates, 19 of which didn't install the first time, and 1 that didn't install the second time. Once you get those done, you're fine. In addition, the fan on the computer is a little noisy. I think I've read that a couple people just replaced it and had no problems, but my sister listening to it thought it was fireworks outside, so if that's an issue, have a fan ready! I also read somewhere that the keyboard and mouse felt really cheap, but I don't see how they're any better or worse than any other store bought desktop bundle. I also believe that Overstock has the keyboard and mouse listed as PS/2 input, but they are in fact USB. They keyboard doesn't have a Windows Key on it, but the button is still the same. In the end, as is, even if you don't want to upgrade it like me, the computer is a solid computer. This is, of course, a review written after two days. I'll come back after I'm a good ways through the school year and say how well it's held up for me.

I wanted to purchase a replacement desktop PC for my wife's use but did not want to get one with Windows 8. This is an impossible task in the 'big box' stores because all new PCs come with Windows 8. I won't get into the issue of ver. 8 versus ver. 7, but if you have tried both, you realize what the issues are. Overstock.com came to the rescue with a number of quality options and I chose this particular model of an HP desktop for its value and combination of features (processor and memory). I added an internal wireless card (much less expensive than a USB device) and now the PC is in place and working very well. Thanks Overstock.com!

Once set up, I was amazed at how much faster this machine was than my old one (more RAM). Out of the box it looked and ran like new. The placement of the USB ports, DVD burner and things you want to get to easily allowed me to complete re-arrange my set-up and clear a lot of space that I can use to better advantage. I was impressed by other reviews of the product and find them to be, so far, no exaggeration. The price helped keep it within my budget, also.

We have hundreds of the Dell Optiplex 755 at my work and they perform the basic task well. I bought this model because of the smaller form factor for my desk in our kitchen. This system does NOT have WiFI so I had to get a USB Adapter to connect to my network. I opted to spend a little more and get the 4GB of RAM and at 750GB hard drive to make sure I would not have to match or upgrade the system later. From my experience at work we have concerns with the small power supply in these units. It works fine for the basic system but it does not have enough power to drive a high end video cards.

The package arrived safely in a timely fashion. But when I opened it, all of the partes except the Recovery CD were there. I chatted with Overstock's customer service about the issue on Sunday Jan 19th. The part arrived Jan 24th. Yea! I set the system up without any problems. It has a RJ45 ethernet connection built in, but no wireless. I had a PCI Wireless card, but it was too tall to fint in the small form factor of this computer, so I had to string a cable until I could obtain a wireless USB device This is not a complaint, just something to be aware of if you are planning on buying the product.

This computer has worked great for us. Since 2008, we've been using laptops exclusively, but my laptop has run out of hard drive space and has started acting wonky. We tried a couple of other laptops, but they both had issues with the track pads jumping all over the place. I've owned a few laptops over the years, and I've never had "jumpy track pad" problem before, and here, we had it with two in a row ... very different different models of laptops ... one was a high-end XXXXXXXX, and the other was a low-end XXXXXX. Sure, we could plug in a regular mouse, but if I'm gonna do that, might as well get a laptop, right? And with a laptop, I get way more computer for way less money, right? So we decided to give this refurbished Dell computer a try. It has been great so far! We are using it with the flat screen monitor I bought back in 2003, which had been sitting in our garage collecting dust since 2008. Works great. The DVD drive is vertical, which is kind of weird, and it does make loud noises, but so far it works fine. There are only 2 USB ports on the front, but that's OK because I bought a USB hub that has three USB ports and several card reader slots. I love that it has Windows 7 instead of Windows 8. Yippiee! Very happy customer.

Ordered 4, one failed within 30 days. Overstock customer support & getting a replacement was excellent! Drives are small by today standards, but for a workstation or home Internet user, it'll suffice - you can always upgrade. 4 GIG of RAM is plenty; I like the "clean" install of Win7, no junk or trial software. The only thing I'd like to see different is Win 7 64 instead of 32 so you can see all 4 GIG of RAM, and its a little more secure. Optical mouse & keyboard are pretty good as well. 8 USB ports a plus. These units are professionally refurbished grade A, and are clean as new. There may be a minor scratch or two, but small and colored in so you wont notice. All-in-all I recommend them. Id like to give them a good+, cant go excellent because one failed, but it happens, and like I said, replacement was hassle free & quick.
