The computer has a sturdy chassis - evidenced by its weight; high-quality internal components; ample memory; and was factory-refurbished.... It was a luxury to have a new keyboard and mouse included with the purchase. Packaging was sturdy and neat. The computer software was already set-up - with only personalization to attend upon initial power-up. The OS (Win7) is very efficient, and cost-effective for this WinXP replacement computer. I was very impressed at how efficiently it handled Office applications, and file/media-manipulation. Overstock.com shipped the item free; quickly; and with no damage...! Very satisfied with the purchase!

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M57P works great for my application, streaming video from the Internet to my TV. The compact size fits well in my media center. The unit has plenty of "horsepower" for my application.

I bought one of these to use as a media and occasional gaming PC. The unit hasn't had any hardware problems, case looks cool and it's not overly loud (but not exactly quiet.) It has a nice gaming keyboard and mouse but the GPU is just not powerful enough to handle real gaming and this unit is sold as a gaming PC. I fired up mass effect 2 with the unit hooked to my HDTV and it had to shrink the screen quite a bit in order to run. If I expand the screen to full screen, it has too much hesitation. Portal 2 on steam worked well full screen with full motion. I imagine an upgrade to the GPU would fix this, but haven't done much research yet. The unit does well as a media PC but it's just not quite powerful enough for gaming.

It's a good machine. Out of the box, it was ready to run. I know that the specs didn't indicate a lack of wireless connectivity, but it seems funny to me that any machine today wouldn't have a wireless antenna. It was only a few bucks more to pick one up and install, and now it works like a charm. Everything else is fine. It is fast enough, reads and plays media and is a big step up from the 5-year old machine that it replaces.

Impressed with this machine and its supplier. The HP showed up very well packaged. After removing it and once inside, the refurbished HP was -clean as whistle -very minimal scratches and dings -came with both the Win 7 Pro 32-bit & 64-bit disks. This allowed me to install a fresh OS on a Seagate XT hybrid drive. The MB has an available PCIe 16x slot so I added an EVGA graphics card for dual monitors. Even though the HP only cam with one 2GB stick of RAM, it seems to be incredibly snappy and quite responsive for average everyday use. (Web, email, media, MOS, any average application should work flawlessly. I wouldn't use it for heavy gaming. It's not that type of rig) **If you must have wireless, you will also need to purchase a wireless adapter card as It does not come with one.** I'm currently using its on-board Gigabit port for the network, as I prefer a wired medium anyhow. It holds up very well for streaming media and data transfers from my home-built server. In my opinion, the machine would be a decent machine at a good price right out-of-the-box if you just set it up and roll. But, if you don't mind opening a case and adding a few goodies, this is a great machine and very easy to work on. Hope this helps.

The purchase was a great investment. Since the purchase of Windows 7 Professional would, in itself approximated the cost of this new PC. The PC performs well with a Dual Core Processor and 4 Gigs of Ram. I would not recommend this PC for Gaming, but for everyday task, the PC is great. It has multiple USB Ports in the rear of the PC and two USB Ports on the front panel. It even has a parallel and serial port. It was necessary to install Windows 7 from a partition on the hard drive and no CD or media was supplied with the unit. The installation was simple but more documentation could have been supplied. Regardless of the minor details, the transaction was good and I don't know of many places offering a Desktop Tower for approximately $200. I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

This is a fantastic piece of electronic equipment, it has made my cd, FM radio and record player obsolete. You do not need a computer to use it and it has a digital out to use with an outboard d/a converter. I am using it with my Entech DAC, Adcom amp, MB Quart speakers and a Carver preamp with outstanding results. I am very pleased with the purchase and it's a steal at under

Solid internet radio. The menu could have been easier to read and I wish they had an actual keyboard because it takes a long time to select a specific stations. Overall, well worth the price!
