  • Description is incorrect

    Dec 4, 2014

    ew  from Texas, Rating:3.0

The description has this with a resolution of 1024 x 600 but the actual resolution is 800 x 480. The description also stated that the device has bluetooth but that appears to be incorrect as well. The device looks nice and will serve the purpose I purchased it for but I specifically chose this one because of the resolution and bluetooth capabilities.

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Pearl White 8 " Review

    Nov 30, 2014

    frankcomments  from Northern CA., Rating:5.0

This tablet has the best screen quality for the price. I have been looking for a quality tablet to supplement the one that I already use. In addition, I want a Samsung product because I want to gain more familiarity with the Samsung platform. Users will be impressed with the quality of screen and fine touch of the overall product. It's excellent! Most of my tablet use is search and the performance is fast. In addition, the network connectivity is much better than the other tablet that I own. Buy one, you'll be happy too.

  • Didn't receive what I ordered, but good enough.

    Mike V  from Louisiana, Rating:3.0

I thought the problem specified in the other reviews would have been fixed, but no. I ordered the M4500 with the i7-620M processor, with integrated graphics listed in the description. What I got was an M4500 with an i7-740Q, and a separate Nvidia graphics card. The difference? The 620M is a dual-core @ 2.67GHz, the 740Q is a quad-core @ 1.73GHz. The 620M has integrated graphics and the 740Q does not, requiring a graphics card. Now, is this all a problem? You may not notice the difference in single process speed, and some things may need the additional core. Having a separate graphics card is always better. So you could say that I came out ahead. But Overstock is obviously sloppy, inconsistent, and doesn't learn from negative reviews. You might get what you ordered. You might get something better. From some of the other reviews, you might get something worse. Roll the dice and order from Overstock if you have the right mindset. Also, this came with a fingerprint scanner that was...

This was my first purchase from Overstock.com. I was a little hesitant at first to buy an older refurbished computer. I purchased this computer to replace my old HP desktop that did not work.anymore. Just upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 7 was a huge improvement in speed and performance. My old computer was only 32 bit, this is 64. The load time for web pages is 500% faster! It is not as noisy as some others had commented. It is comparable to my last HP desktop. My one suggestion to OS would be to include a little more detailed incrustations for newer folks about making sure you do all of the windows updates (you have to do it multiple times, with multiple restarts; in my case 5 separate times for critical updates) and install a antivirus program before go online or do anything else when you first get the computer. The antivis is not included but can be found easily online or from your internet provider for free if you have Time Warner. Delivery was very fast. I like the fr...

  • I don't recomend any computer that uses Window 8

    Nov 21, 2014

Miss Missi  from Deltona Florida, Rating:3.0

You can't use a Windows 8 computer to send movies to a TV for viewing. It was simple to do with Windows 7.
