  • Incomplete product shipped. Beware.

This PC was shipped without the software being installed, so the activation code would not work. Reaching tech support by phone was impossible, so I sent an email with all of the details. When tech support finally called me they knew none of the details, the guy said, "I don't know anything, somebody gave me your name and number and told me to call you". I wasted hours of time getting the PC up and running. Also the keyboard they shipped was extremely flimsy and defective. They offered to send another keyboard but it was just more trouble. Fortunately, I had a decent extra keyboard so I used that and threw theirs away.

My iMuz tablet arrived today and I was very excited to open it. The box contained the standard tablet, user manual,USB cable, charger and ear buds. My two non-negotiable requirements are Skype and Netflix, so I went to Google Play and downloaded the required apps. Now, after several hours, I can report this: Pros: The white matte-finish looks very clean and doesn't constantly display greasy fingerprints. The tablet is light in weight and will be easy to hold for extended periods of time. The charging was fast (it arrived with most of a charge on it but topped up in about 30 minutes). The tablet settings are easy to use and customize. The 7" screen is big enough to be comfortable and small enough to put in a large pocket or small purse. Skype seems to work without any problems (so far). Cons: The screen resolution is a bit grainy and may cause eyestrain after prolonged use. The screen is not very sensitive to touch (I'd rate it 3/5). It becomes annoying very quickly. After ...

Received on time. Product was perfect. Windows XP Professional was installed and free from the usual junk loaded on new machines. Was my first purchase from Overstock. Very satisfied.

This is the second one of this model you had to send. The first was in great condition and working well but would not shut down properly. The replacement just a nightmare. Way slow...Find it hard to believe this is a 3 gig processor. And it makes continual "growling" sound which is nerve wracking!! Would think about calling tech support but they were very little help with the first computer so, am not really looking forward to dealing with them again. Probably will just find a new pc somewhere else. Could not recommend purchasing a refurbished through Overstock ever again.

  • Mismatched computer

The computer arrived in excellent time and was as promised. The unit was slow to boot up and once up it kept locking up and shutting down. I was unable to operate the floppy drive I installed as the unit will not recognize any plug and play devices other than the keyboard and mouse. The computer is clearly labeled as designed for Windows XP but came with Windows 7 Home installed. I've been told that this may be causing my problems. I am now left with the option of reloading the Operating System that came with the unit or loading Windows XP and seeing if that cures its ills. I have been buying my computers from Overstock.com for many years now but this may be the last one. I certainly expect a better product than I got, refurbished or not!
