  • Dell Optiplex 755 2.33Ghz 750GB Desktop Computer

    Jan 27, 2012

    tallinger  from Birmingham, MI, Rating:4.0

I was looking for a computer for home use to replace my old out of date desk top. This re-furbished Dell is just what I needed. It is quick, comes with Windows 7 and is much smaller than my old one. The keyboard is not of great quality, the 'Back' key is too small. Overall, I think I got a great deal on a real quality product.

    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The computer itself is great. The keyboard, not so great.

I am seeing in previous post no internal internet card, and after copying the picture of the back of the case and saving to open later to enlarge, I see one ethernet port, and only two usb ports. Is this right? If so it just will not do as I have multiple periphials and for over a grand I would expect at lest 6 or 7 ports.

    • How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Did not show the back of the case in zoom
    • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Do not know yet

  • Good option to an expensive new computer

If your life is not designed around a computer and you do some fun computing buy a refurbished computer like I did. My purchase has a year warranty just as you would get if you purchased a new computer for a lot more in cost. My new computer arrived clean, packed well and delivered as stated. This was a good purchase for me.

    • How did the image on site compare with the actual product? It was exactly as pictured

  • Title should note that it's a dual core.

An excellent value for the money. Dual core, 3GHz makes it almost as fast as a new Dell 3i and you save $100 or more (your average home user, non-heavy game player won't know the difference). Upgrade the video card and I would think this can handle some of your newer games adaquately. The average and even some above average users will never fill up the hard drive. Plus a 1 year warranty too!

    • How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Image should have a detail of the ports
    • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No initial defects.
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Initially the product performs to specs
  • Very disappointed

Product looks NOTHING like the picture. It is not silver. It is matte black, and quite worn looking. Seems to be quite touchy, and only shows a screen for an instant, before the screen disappears. Randomly acknowledges (or not) thumb drive inserted in USB port. Sending it back asap.

    • How did the image on site compare with the actual product? nothing like it
    • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? no
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. very worn looking
