  • Cute, but doesn't work...

This case is really cute, and it good quality... However, it doesn't work for my Kindle Fire HD 7", as it was intended. My Kindle fire has a power button at the bottom back, and power plug access, right next to that. This case does not have openings in those areas, so I have to take the Kindle out to power it up and to turn it on. Although it is really cute, I wouldn't recommend it for the Kindle Fire HD.

Sorry I bought a refurbished tablet. Was very sluggish at best. Kept freezing up when using e-mail and facebook. Volume button & on/off button were hard to use when in the cover I purchased that was recommended for this tablet. Had a *** before this and loved it but it broke and couldn't be fixed.

Always had problems with signal in the upstairs studio. The unit set up quickly, there are no instructions and it has a crappy control panel like most everything does these days. Messed with it for a half hour and got it working and my download speed doubled. It does what it promises with the signal, too bad it has the usual lack of instructions and unintuitive crappy icon driven control panel that seems to come with any computer component these days.

I bought one of these to use as a media and occasional gaming PC. The unit hasn't had any hardware problems, case looks cool and it's not overly loud (but not exactly quiet.) It has a nice gaming keyboard and mouse but the GPU is just not powerful enough to handle real gaming and this unit is sold as a gaming PC. I fired up mass effect 2 with the unit hooked to my HDTV and it had to shrink the screen quite a bit in order to run. If I expand the screen to full screen, it has too much hesitation. Portal 2 on steam worked well full screen with full motion. I imagine an upgrade to the GPU would fix this, but haven't done much research yet. The unit does well as a media PC but it's just not quite powerful enough for gaming.
