I bought this for a home theater set-up where cord management was already a problem... This arrived quickly and was easy to install (just takes a Phillips head screwdriver to install in place of the standard faceplate). The indicator is bright enough to check on without moving any heavy equipment. It simplified my set up while providing thunderstorm spike protection. Posting this in Jan 2009, so it is untested on efficacy. If it doesn't work, there is a warranty to replace the TV, etc...

I am happy with this adapter because it saves me from using any batteries! I can just plug my adapter into my label maker & I'm ready to label things! I love not having to wait on it to charge OR use all those batteries..well, this replaces any & all of that. Great product & I wish I had an adapter for all of my gadgets.

Not tested by a lighting strike or brownout (yet) but delivers reliable power through minor interruptions. This model has its own screen display rather than using the PC's to give operating status information (a nice thing if you are having PC problems).

I am very plesed with my product. It is multipurpose. It's convenient when you can use it either with PC (USB port), in the vehicle's cigarette lighter and has 2 ports and can be used in an electrical out let as well. More importantly it gives you two different size usb ports for a camera and phone. I am very satisfied!

If you use an anti glare screen protector on iPad, make sure you make a notch where the camera lens is. While using face time, I wondered what was wrong with my iPad! I was fuzzy but reverse image was clear ;-D

Ideal supply for a system not requiring very high output power supply which probably would apply to most computer systems presently in use.

This is one sturdy shelf. It's a lot beefier than I thought it would be and definitely overkill for the couple pieces of small equipment sitting on it. The only downside is that it is bulky and doesn't allow the use of the space immediately below it in the rack. We use the square hole APC racks.

Used APC surge arrest products for years. Needed a new one so there was no comparison. Easy to install and fits in a small area nicely
