I've been using this battery now for a little over a week and I'm very glad I made the purchase. The original 1500ma battery that came with the phone would barely last six hours. For me, this 3500ma battery is fully charged at 7AM and more or less depleted at 10PM; about 15 hours of use. A typical day for me includes about four hours of music playing, several hours of web browsing, and general playing around with apps, etc. Lots of screen time. Since I take very few calls throughout the day on my cell phone I cannot attest to the battery's performance for users who are constantly talking. However, it's going to be a huge improvement over the phones original battery no matter the user's habits. The new back is high quality and adds about a half centimeter to the overall thickness of the phone, making it about 1.5cm total. It does make the phone appear a bit less sleek. But you do get one hidden benefit... that is the camera lens is now recessed, so the phone sits properly on its back. It snaps on even more tightly than the original backing, probably due to the fact that it's a lot more stiff than the original. I have no complaints about the looks.
