This is the best purchase I have made for my iPOD. The speaker is not loud enough for car use, but is perfect in the evening at home. I hate earphones and this is a really great alternative. I listen to books and it makes the sound so much better. I highly recommend this speaker and getting an extra for reserve and gifts for friends.
These speakers are great!!! I ordered them to hook up to my computer at work...now all my coworkers want to get a pair. I was especially surprised at the quality and sound from these small speakers! Bought this for my 12 year old grand daughter to go along with her Sansa mp3 I bought earlier. I thought she would like to use a speaker for her bedroom or to share music with friends as an alternative to using her ear buds. I was right. She loves it. The sound was loud enough for that purpose. Good sound but not great stereo quality for sure either. Like an old fashioned AMFM radio sound.
What a sweet accessory! I love the versatility and ease of use. I like the simple design and decent sound for such a small speaker. It seems to stay charged up all day which will be very nice for as much as I will use it. Definitely a worthwhile investment for any iPod or MP3 player users you know. Since it uses a 3.5 mm audio cable, I use it as a speaker for my laptop as well. All this for less than $ 15!.
I am impressed with this little speaker setup. It does get tinny if you crank up the music too loud but if you're buying this you're probably not expecting it to blow the windows out. The sound was so so with my iphone but it works well with my Zune MP3 player. In fact, I use this more as a laptop speaker than my iphone speaker and it's perfect for listening to radio-stations and watching movies from your laptop.
