We bought this camera for our honeymoon in Australia. We did a lot of city stuff, but also snorkling and whale watching. It worked great both wet and dry. It uses 2 AA batteries which at first I didn't like, but it was great to easily change them out on the go. The still images leave something to be desired, so don't make this your only camera on the trip. I took the movies and he had his point and shoot camera. It worked out great. Its small, compact, and versitle.
