We got this to play a CD of soothing music in our daughter's room all night to help her sleep. The repeat feature was just waht we wanted. It sounds just fine for this use of background music, is small, unobtrusive and is easy to use. Excellent value!

this was the worst cd player. I've had trouble with it since the day it came to me.

I bought this to play CDs when my granddaughter visits. As a two-year-old, she was pretty rough with the CD lid, and she figured out the buttons quickly. Over a year since I bought this, I now have it in my classroom, and it is like new - I think I'll look into buying one or two more, for my kitchen and my barn. Absolutely perfect for a portable radio and CD player.

This product is used for exactly what I intended. I listen to books on tape. The sound is clear and loud enough. I have not used the AM/FM radio, so I do not know the music quality.

For the size and price, this little thing sounds very good. Its easy to use: plug it in, and start listening. It does NOT play Mp3 disks, fyi. Overall, I'd buy again, and I'd recommend it to a friend.

We purchased this for our 6 year old daughter to listen to her story CD's. She loves it and quickly learnt how to use it. It's small and light and the sound quality is great for the CDs. we don't use it for the radio at all, so I can't comment on that. The only issue I have is a slight electrical buzzing noise that it has when you get really close to it, even when it is off.

Item received within a few days and product is as advertised. Was concerned as some reviews said volume not high enough, but I think it is. Easy to use (when outdoors unable to see readout in the sun)

the CD player I purchased is ok, except that here is no on/off switch to shut the unit off completely, it continues to have a low sounding hum, in order to stop it, I have to unplug it and then plug it back in to use it. Very disappointing.

My 6 year old needs something for school. This is great. He can use it alone or share it with his friends. Very easy to use.

found this unit to be ideal for travel. Sound quality is nice and it beats anything I found at Best Buy or Walmart, also if it gets damaged its really not a big loss.

Perfect for my 7 yr old who likes to read books on cd. I found some nice headphones. Plays cd's fine and he has had no issues. Radio works well.

This product will be returned because of six CDs tried it only read one, the rest of them were unable to to play. The radio was Ok.
