I was looking for a small unit which could be easily toted around. This Coby player is perfect! It's small, but it has better volume and sound quality than many large boom boxes I've seen. This was just the music makaer I needed for my office. Compact, yet with great sound and easy to comtrol dials and buttons. Very portable because of its size. Wanted a very portable CD player and that's what I got. Light weight. Good sound. Easy to use controls. Good price. Would have liked MP3 disc player but couldn't find one as portable so gave up that feature. Wonder why they don't make 'em a little more packable, i.e., a little more rectangular? Is it form over function?

It looks great, but unable to pick up very many stations with it. It serves the purpose of filling my working environment with ambient noise.

Thanks to this product, my boyfriend no longer had to unplug his 20 year old alarm clock and lug it to work with him to listen to basketball games.
