The sound was poor to begin with and has gotten progressively worse over three months. Overstock says there is a one year warranty on this but that's only for parts - labor is only for 90 days. Coby is honoring the warranty, but it will cost me approx. $$$ for shipping. I'll follow up if what they send me back sounds any better.

If anyone is looking for a great stereo for the back yard or your room this is the one. Nicely designed and the price was great too!!! Have no problems and the system sounds great!!!

i only wated this to play the radio occationally. it works great and has ok reception even since my son broke off the antena. the only down fall is that its a manual station finder.

bought this for my 80 year old sister living with us.... if she can operate it anyone can! and she loves it. only afraid it will break if it falls,plastic shell a bit thin.....

The radio could get better reception. It plays good.

I bought this for myself. It is made cheaply. Little fingers would demolish it fast.

I bought this little radio to use around the house when I do projects. It's a great size! Easy to carry around, great sound and it's easy to use. I take it outside when I work in the garden, or into the garage when I'm working in there. The CD player works great, too. So far, I don't have any complaints!

I bought for my 6yr old son and its a nice and simple cd player with good quality sound.

Stay away from Coby. this the second Coby product I have purched this year. both worked well for 6 months then died. This player will play well for the first 10-15 mins then start having static and quit playing altogether. My other product was a flat screen TV which lost the tint just after the warrenty ran out. Cost' s more to fix than to just replace. Coby appears to have issues. they are made in China, Maybe it is planned defects. Stay away from Coby.

I love it! I bought it mostly to listen to my business cd's, but I also use it to play music to help my granddaughter go to sleep. It's small, I like the handle, and the sound it just fine!!

This is a nice little radio although I was shocked at how many batteries it needs! Will be nice first player for my 8 year old! Sounds good & seems easy enough.

This is a very nice CD player, very easy to use, and at a very reasonable price. The sound is quite good, and it functions quite well as a radio also. All in all a good purchase.

I purchased this as a gift for an older couple. It is light weight and easy for them to carry from room to room and even outside. It works perfectly for them. The controls are simple and easy to use and the radio has very good reception even though they live in the country. The CD player is easy to load and operate, and the sound quality is excellent. The only criticism is that the letters on the player could be larger to be easier to see.

I purchased this after returning a similar product to a discount store. The CDs skipped on the first product. Imagine my frustration when I opened my Overstock purchase and the CD player didn't work when I plugged in the cord. I tried a diferent cord, but there was still no power. I purchased 6 "C" batteries for 2/3 the cost of the CD player and enjoyed the wonderful sound and easy portability. No skipping, even when I carried it from room to room. I asked my son the electrician to take a look at it and he discovered that one of the internal wires was disconnected so a power cord couldn't possibly work. He said the wire just needed a little solder but that a soldering iron was more than a new CD player. I can't send it back because it;'s been :tampered with", so, I'm ordering another one and praying that it's manufactured correctly. I like the product enough to recommend it, but the fact that it was defective really bummed me out!

The player was a gift. The recipient is just thrilled with the unit. The size fits perfect and the sound is just great !

I love how Overstock sends your purchases so quickly. Anyway, this is a good little player. I bought it to use outside when I was painting my house and it sounded good. It served it's purpose for that and now I am using it everywhere. A good buy and a nice little player.
