I have used this in the last three weeks,and it has never let me down! Sure enough I was speeding when I was going uphill,it sent out an alert! I slowed down and when I reached the top of the hill, The Highway Patrol was sitting there! It has already paid for itself!Thank You,

I think this radar detector helped during my interstate trips. It was actually kind of fun to figure out why it was beeping at the automatic doors. I used this detector until someone smashed my windshield and took it. :-(

I have tested this product time after time, and it works without fail at each and every point. Any sort of radar such as K or Ka band is easily detected up to a mile away, as well as around corners and up or down hills. The only drawback with a lower priced Radar/Laser detector is its inability to detect "Lidar" in time. Laser detection with the XRS 9340 works fine, but it will only show you that you have been tagged after the fact. Otherwise, the product lets you know within plenty of time with any other band. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, in fact, I have bought several of this same one for friends and family members. Perfect for the daily driver or on long trips, I use mine every day as well as fairly frequent trips across the US.

We bought this to have one for the wife's car as he took hers. Now we both know where to be concerned about slowing down. Great product!
