  This is the first time I've received a crappy refurbished product. I was looking forward to receiving this in the mail and when I plugged it in with my iphone, the volume was so quiet and it wouldn't adjust! It was just stuck on one set volume! I was very disappointed and don't know if I will ever order a refurbished product again :-(

  I have this in my toddlers room. I have all the outlets covered so this works well to tell me what time it is when i am reading to her at night

  I purchased the PHSC120B and the sound is excellent! It is slightly difficult to program and the alarm goes off very loudly, that is not changeable. Also, when the unit is on iPod or AUX, and nothing is playing, you can faintly hear a radio station sound coming out of the system, which is kind of weird. Pay attention to the size, the unit is fairly big for an alarm clock radio. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with my purchase, specifically because of the sound quality.

  This is an excellent product for the price. It works well and charges the iPod as well, which not all non-Apple products do. The sound quality is only fair, but considering this was about a fifth of the price of the iPod brand clock radio, it is still an excellent value.
