This device is intended for use with a Windows based OPOS (OLE Point of Sale) cash register, but is not directly compatible with any computer that is simply running a Windows operating system, such as XP, Vista, or 7. Item # 13714775, however, is compatible with both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows (7, Vista, XP, 2000, and 2003 Server).
