  • Lumia 520 great phone!

I really like this phone, I got it as a gift for my husband because he has his own business and uses excel quite a bit. On his android phone he really couldn't do much in office. With this phone, he can update spreadsheets and other word documents right from the actual phone without having to wait until he gets back to the office. The phone is not too big or small, slightly smaller than the Lumia 810 but the same features and bit more of a sleek style compared to the boxy 810 style which I love! Overall, my husband loves the phone, I am happy with it since I've always preferred Windows phones over androids or the all too expensive iphone. I also love the fact that I could purchase the 2 or 3 year warranty for less than I would have spent through the actual carrier.

Phone is exactly as advertised, although there are seemingly not TV stations that it can pick up. I was in a major metropolitan area and I got 2 stations. Both were very fuzzy and one was Spanish channel and the other was a tech channel, so I don't know what band they are running off of, but I didn't get the phone for a television, was just a fun feature, or at least I thought it would be. Radio feature works great, still a lot of static and seems maybe a little too sensitive. Phone quality is great, calls are clear, although a volume control would have been nice. More information in the owners manual would have been incredibly helpful to start...like how to lock the keypad... button functions... how to find what you are looking for. It did take me a day or two to figure them out. That being said the phone works perfectly for my needs! It is great buy for the price and quality appears to be there as well. Still don't understand the value of dual SIMS? Wouldn't you then hav...

  • Great value for a smartphone!

After several years of turning against the tide of brand new technology in the way of cell phones, I finally decided it was time to get a smartphone. I often use the internet on my tablet, but I have to be hooked to a wi-fi connection. I realized that I could either buy a hotspot and carry around the tablet AND the hotspot module OR buy a smartphone with internet capabilities. I did a lot of research and I knew I wanted to stick with Samsung because my tablet works very well with very little problems. I knew about the Samsung Galaxy phones and wanted to stick with the "S" series but I cannot afford a brand new phone. I also have a prepaid cell phone plan, so I didn't want to start a 2-year contract agreement. When I found this phone, I thought this was the best deal and I was right. Since it's refurbished, it has a few cosmetic dings on the plastic parts but it does not affect the usability of the phone. I LOVE the camera because I scan receipts for different apps and the phone...
