This battery was shown as new on Overstocks website - however upon receipt it was clearly a used battery. It has dings and scratches on it. It even came with a little label that said the condition of the battery ("good"). Ridiculous! I wanted to buy a new, not used battery. Overstock, you should be ashamed!

Battery was manufactored in 2010. Doesn't take a charge and you can tell that it was used/refurbished

The product would not fully charge my phone and the charge indicator lights flickered signifying faulty circuitry. I had used this model charge case before for about a year before the battery would no longer charge. That model worked well and this was its replacement which failed to function as described. I returned it to Overstocked and the return was easy to effect. My charge card was credited immedicately on Overstocked reciept of the returned item.

Pretty good, 6-10 hours of use out of it on slow data

I'm happy with the battery and that's what counts. I went the extra $1 to get the tools as I had never attempted to replace the battery in an iPhone before. I ended up using my own tools to get the job done because the provided tools were a joke. The pry bar scarred trying to get the face off the iPhone and started to break when I tried using it to pry. I ended up using a suction cup. I HIGHLY recommend using a suction cup to remove the face of the iPhone! SO much easier!!! By the time I got to the battery itself it was glued to the bottom of the back panel and that's where the pry bar snapped. I was trying to loosen the battery up around the edges and it just snapped. I ended up using a flossing pick to get the battery pried loose and out, lol! It was stronger than the pry tool that I got in the package if that tells you anything. The price was right. It came in at just under $10 after shipping costs. It took 10 days to get the product. That was a bit of a let down for such a giant site. I could have had it from NewEgg in 3 days for a couple dollars more. That'll teach me for going the cheaper route, lol. 10 days isn't that long but when you rely on your phone for appointments, contacts and everything else and the battery starts to die quickly that 10 days seems like an eternity, lol. All in all, it beat paying Apple $** to do something you can do yourself as long as you're careful and patient:-)

There are no instructions with the charger, so I had to "guestimate" on how to use it. The battery contact pins on it can slide back and forth which allows it to be used with different batteries, so you have to be careful about aligning them with the + and - contacts on the battery to get them in the right place, but the problem is they aren't marked, but since they would only align with the battery contacts one way, I took a chance. When I plugged it in, a blue light came on so I figured I'd done it right. I let it charge overnight. In the morning the blue light was still on but it didn't charge the battery at all. Looking into the slot that the contact pins slide in I saw why- the wire had come off of the negative contact pin inside the unit. Didn't feel like going through the return hassle, so I decided to void the warranty, open the unit up and solder the wire back on. That fixed it because when I put in the battery and plugged it in, the blue light turned red, then changed to blue when it was fully changed.

I have been using the battery for a while now and it holds a charge just fine. It appears to be OEM and I am happy with my purchase.

Picked up two replacement batteries because they were cheap and my 3 year old battery doesn't last quite as long as it used to. They both worked for a week, seemed to have that extra few hours my battery used to have.... Then died and wont turn on. Phone just shows a dead battery symbol, old battery works fine. Batteries look identical to the the old fascinate one so I dont know. Maybe they were refurbs or something.

Perhaps it's my naivety when ordering, as the description states neither "new" or "used", just OEM. So, yeah, my battery came and there are obvious wear marks on the terminals. Classic deception. I may order from overstock.com again, but very very carefully.

The batteries arrived earlier than expected and held about a 3/4 charge right out of the box. We went ahead and charged each before fully using them which did not take long at all. The batteries tend to last just as long or perhaps a little longer than the original HTC batteries that came with the phones. No overheating, no problems charging, and really a solid product. Free from defects and arrived exactly as pictured.

I have been using this pack of batteries for a few weeks without any problems. It is so nice to always have a fully charged backup! I have not found that my phone acts any differently or heats up excessively while using this product. I also purchased the wall plug in charger to go with these batteries. Great deal, do it!!

Great product although it appears to drain the main battery much quicker. Nevertheless, the combination of the two still provides extended battery use far beyond the single battery on it's own. This device eliminated the need for the car charger. One less thing to remember when traveling!

Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to another reviewer who said to save your money because this is a used battery. Mine also was obviously used and could't hold a charge through the day with light use. This was my first and LAST order from Overstock

I'm' sorry I wasted my money on these cheap batteries for my HTC EVO 4G phone. I didn't expect a lot, but they are worse than I'd expected from a reputable website like Overstock. These batteries have no brand on them. They are labeled "Replacement for HTC EVO 4G." The label also says "2000mAh" which I absolutely do not believe is the real capacity of these batteries. The OEM battery for my phone is rated at 1500mAh. I bought a second battery, from a reputable brand, rated at 1750mAh, which is priced in the *** range. Both batteries perform well but they are aging and as batteries go through so many charge/discharge cycles they eventually lose some capacity. So I thought a couple of extra batteries to keep charged (I have a good wall charger for these batteries) and ready to pop into my phone when out and about, would be a good idea. I placed one of these batteries in my wall charger overnight, then placed it into my phone. It was run down to less than 10% of capacity in only about 5 hours of normal use. That was disappointing, but I could live with it. What I can NOT live with is: I discovered that my phone felt HOT to the touch when this battery was in it. And that was enough heat to be felt through the phone's back cover and the TWO layers of my Otter case. Ridiculous! This has not happened with either the OEM or the brand name battery. I will not risk damage to my phone by using these nasty cheap knockoff batteries. So these two piece-of-carp batteries are going into the recycle container at my local battery store (not the trash, please for rechargeable batteries!) the next time I drive by there. And if I do buy any more batteries for my phone they will be from reputable brands. My bad for bargain shopping, lesson learned.

I purchased this product because it seemed like a great value. Even if it didn't quite compare to the original replacement. Unfortunately, the battery drained very quickly and would not hold a complete charge. Keep in mind that my cellular company replaced my phone under warranty, so it may have had something to do with the phone not accepting the charge correctly or some setting (like enabling the bluetooth). You can take your chances or use this as a spare battery. If you need to be sure about your choice, you may want to stay with the motorola OEM replacement.

The label on these batteries say they are 2000 mAh, while the original battery is only 1500 mAh. However, the new batteries only last about as long as the original 1 1/2-year-old battery. These are only useful as cheap spares. Also, HTC on the label is misspelled as "HT." This just goes along with the general quality of these batteries.

This Razr V3 lithium-ion battery was an excellent replacement for the very old and overused (it was the original from 06) motorola battery in my phone. I have had it in my "back from the crypt Razr V3" for a few weeks now and it seems to be working just fine. It charges quickly and keep its charge for at least a few days, even though I leave it in the car where temps can reach 140 degrees during the day. As soon as I put the battery in my phone and turned it on (it comes pre-charged) I remembered how much I always liked using that phone (good memories). Besides that, the thing is almost indestructable. I wish they still made phones constructed of metal!

If you can't get the HTC branded battery and case this is a good alternative. You may have antenna issues depending upon the quality of the back case you get, from my experience, if you're normal battery is dead use this until you can find the HTC branded version.

I have used both batteries for a couple of weeks now. I was pleasantly surprised that they seem to have about the same useful life as the OEM batteries, although they are slightly lighter. Claimed capacity is 1,700 milliamp hours compared to the original 1,400 mAH. I will update this review if i don't get one year of useful life from the batteries.

With the bevy of options and features now available in cell phones, it's easy to find one perfect for you. Before you begin searching for your next cell phone, take the time to think about what you need your phone to do. Below, you'll learn the best cell phone features. Camera: Cell phone cameras can be quite handy when you happen upon a special moment without a regular digital camera on hand. Most camera phones don't take very high-resolution (usually 1.3 megapixel) pictures, but there are some that top out over 3 megapixels. Some cell phone cameras even have small flashes. If you want a camera phone, find out if it comes with the cable and software to connect to your computer, so you don't have to spend extra for a separate program. Video: Usually, camera phones that play video will also record video. Some non-camera cell phones also play video. Look to see if you can transfer movies from your phone to your computer. Web browsing: Many cell phones let you connect to the Internet. Most use Wireless Access Protocol (WAP), which allows the phone to connect to pages specifically designed for cell phones. There are many phones with full browsers, however, that allow you to view regular Web pages. Bluetooth: Bluetooth is a technology that allows you to transfer data wirelessly between devices. Wireless cell phone headsets use this technology, and it can also be used to transfer pictures, ringtones and other data between two cell phones or between cell phones and computers. Games: There are cell phones out there that have been designed with the gamer in mind, allowing you to download games that would compare to those found on a personal gaming system. Office software: Most cell phones feature some sort of a calendar and alarm. You can set a wake-up alarm or you can make it alert you for your next appointment. Other phones allow you to make notes for each appointment. Some let you create documents that can be transferred to your computer's word processor or spreadsheet. MP3 player: More and more cell phones are also MP3 players. Check to see if you need special headphones for listening (and if they're included), and pay attention to the phone's memory capacity. Memory expansion: Some phones, usually video or MP3 player phones, feature memory card slots, so you can save pictures, music or other files on removable flash memory. Voice dialing: If you absolutely have to use your cell phone while driving, you'll want one with voice dialing. The phone recognizes the contact you speak and places the call, allowing you to keep your eyes where they belong: on the road. Buy Cell Phones Back to Guides Directory Buy Cell Phones
