I've been using this battery now for a little over a week and I'm very glad I made the purchase. The original 1500ma battery that came with the phone would barely last six hours. For me, this 3500ma battery is fully charged at 7AM and more or less depleted at 10PM; about 15 hours of use. A typical day for me includes about four hours of music playing, several hours of web browsing, and general playing around with apps, etc. Lots of screen time. Since I take very few calls throughout the day on my cell phone I cannot attest to the battery's performance for users who are constantly talking. However, it's going to be a huge improvement over the phones original battery no matter the user's habits. The new back is high quality and adds about a half centimeter to the overall thickness of the phone, making it about 1.5cm total. It does make the phone appear a bit less sleek. But you do get one hidden benefit... that is the camera lens is now recessed, so the phone sits properly on its back...
Not happy that the battery is much thicker than the original battery. My Ottoerbox protective case will not fit with the thicker battery and the back cover doesn't completely snap into place. Just totally disappointed with the overall product and would not reccomend item. I guess the saying is true, "you get what you pay for". Not much use to me.
I was expecting this battery, which was rated at 1530 mAH according to the product photos, to last longer than the original, OEM HTC battery which was rated at 1320mAH. Fact is the battery doesn't last as long as the original, which is unfortunate as the larger capacity was the main reason I purchase this battery/ I was expecting even better things once I opened the package and saw it was rater for 1800mAH, this should have been a >60% improvement in battery life. Sadly it doesn't last as long as the OEM. Would be an OK purchase if your battery is completely dead, but not a good 'upgrade' IMHO....
It was exactly what I needed and works great in my Blackberry.
This item has been a life saver. I always have a back up battery charged with this item. Never again will i come across a dead cell phone just change the battery and your ready to go.
