Does exactly what it says. We needed to string the DVD between the two front seats so our two little ones could both see the screen. The player sat securely in the case and there was no problem running the power adapter to it in one of the two set-ups you can choose. It was very easy to string between the seats. The additional down mounting clips were of limited use because in our RX330 there is no where to attach them but they weren't really necessary anyway. I certainly wouldn't pay more for it but I am happy I purchased.

the case worked well for what i needed. it came in a timely fashion and did the job suspending between the front head rests. It took a bit of figuring out on how to do it.. but after a dry run.. i was good to go.
