a little difficult to get on a 17 inch laptop, but once on, it seems to provide good protection. We leave this on the laptop when going through airport security and it works great!

I bought this for my 17" HP note book. It fits well...even a little room left, easy to put on and take off. The one I tried before has a zipper which rubbed my computer in a long run. This one does not have this problem. I have been using for a few weeks only so I don't know how long it will last. But, it seems to be a good quality. It's worth to buy.

This is my second caselogic slip case from Overstock. It's great for protecting my new 17 inch MacBook Pro. Unlike other shuttles and slipcases, this one doesn't have any metal zippers or clasps to scratch your laptop. It fits snugly around my laptop and offers a good layer of padded protection. The only drawback to it is that the edges near the flap tends to fray a bit (looks a bit like the kind of tiny runs you would find in a pair of stockings) after frequent use from stretching the fabric to fit over the laptop frame. However, it's just a cosmetic issue--the shuttle works just fine. It's just a shuttle though--no pockets for cords, drives, etc. I bought this to coordinate with a laptop backpack that came with all the bells and whistles--pockets, zippered side pockets, etc.
