A few things that I wished I knew when buying this bag: The canvas of the bag is thick and seems to be well constructed (resulting in a fairly heavy bag). There are a couple of slide in iPod/calculator pockets as well as some pen holders inside the flap. There is also a zippered pocket inside the flap. The main pouch is divided with a padded laptop partition. My main frustration is the closure mechanism. The metal buckle and "belt" strap look cool but are difficult to open and close quickly. If there is something bulky in the bag, it takes conscious effort to line up the buckle correctly and to insert the strap. The other side of the flap is held down with velcro which allows 1/2 of the bag to be more easily accessible. Overall, I like the bag. It looks good enough that I will put up with the few inconveniences.
