USED THESE TO REPLACE STOCK SPEAKERS, SOUND IS EXCELENT FOR THE PRICE. WAS A LITTLE SUPRIZED THAT THE BASKETS ARE PLASTIC BUT IT DOESN'T SEEM TO EFFECT THE SOUND QUALITY

These lasted about a month. There is no way these are rated for 400 watts. They are pretty but would definately not recomend. I never even turned them up loud. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought the speakers for my boat. for what I paid, I think they are fantastic! The speaker is NOT boat rated, but after looking at the one's that are I realized they are made of the SAME materials. They were just a fraction of the price. I am using a SONY deck and they sound fine.My boat is in my garage so the sound is contained, not like it will be in the open water.I fully expect they will sound better in the open. I'd by them again!
