Saw this and decided since my Garmin's mount stopped charging I would try this instead of buying a new window mount (double the cost). It works fine however so does my cell phone charger so it was not a nessessity but I am using it. The only design flaw is that my Garmin needs to be powered up each time the car is started, where the window mount was auto on so it was a nice feature.

My husband has not always been the most technological, and computer based products are not his thing. However, with this GPS system, he has had no trouble learning how to use it. It is definitely his most favorite gift that I have even gotten him!
