I read all the reviews, positive and negative, before buying this all-in-one for my home office. Both sides had good points and I decided to take a risk and go with it. I'm glad I did. It is very easy to use and the copies are as good as ones I get on the gazillion dollar super-copier at work. While the naysayers who complained about the lack of guides on the manual feed were right, the manual feed works fine once you get used to it after just a few uses. I have NOT had copies come out crooked using the manual feed as that reviewer predicted I would. The only drawbacks to this unit are related. I wish it had duplexing for 2-sided copying. Since it does not, I had to print one side, turn the stack over and print the other side. Not a big deal, but if you are using thin, cheapo paper it will jam on the second time through. I solved this by moving to a slightly better quality of paper which the copier handles without any problems at all. It doesn't have an on/off switch, and it does need to be unplugged and rest a bit to recover from a major jam, but these things are, in my view, minor, and are issues I've found in other copiers costing much more than this one. It's very easy to set up, easy to use, and you can't beat the Canon quality! All in all, I love this product and would buy it again in a heartbeat!

I've had this printer set up to my home network (I work from home) for almost 2 weeks and I cannot believe how easy the installation was for a machine of this caliber. I was nervous about purchasing this online but I feel it was a great purchase and one I would recommend to others who need a very reliable business printer/fax/scanner for home or office.

I bought this thinking it was a color laser! Well, it wasn't. I thought, wow, under 300.00 for a color laser? I had a minolta color laser and it was awful. When I got this I found out it was a "monochrome", duh...one color BLACK. Well, once I saw how easy this was to use, how great the quality was and how fast it was I kept it. Glad I did this thing ROCKS. When I get the color one I will get a Canon. P.S. OVERSTOCK ROCKS!

This machine took literally 10 minutes to set-up and start printing. In our small office this was the perfect solution, just plug in your ethernet cable from your router run the easy set-up disk on each machine you want to be able to print from and your up and running. You can also Fax anything from your computer without having to print it out first. This is truly a great deal and an ALL IN ONE solution for anyone.

Easy to set up. Scanning option a little tricky. Copy toner coverage light. Printer output good, though. Fairly small footprint. Scanner light does stay on but rest of machine goes to sleep mode without a hitch.

This is a very useful machine. I hooked it up to my network and have up to four computers printing from it. It makes very good black and white copies. The only extra thing I wish it could do is two sided copying and printing.

I have bought three of these printers for my employees to use at home. They are great and price is fantastic.

Amazing speed and quality on all functiions! The laser prints so fast I will never use any other kind again. It is a must even for home use. I have been printing geneology reports in record time.

This is a great machine. The copy feature works without the computer, which is a real plus. Document printing is fast and clear. Photo printing is quite good and the scanner copies very well.
