I think this PowerShot SD1000 is a top-notch compact camera for its price range. I'm very pleased with its excellent image quality and the useful feature set. I'm ready to take a lot of great pictures for my summer vacation!

As I write this my husband is playing with the camera! He loves it! It was a Christmas gift and we can't get over how clear the photos are!! Fantastic deal. I did find it on sale at some discount stores just before Christmas for cheaper than I paid, but this was quick and easy. It came right away and it was easier than having to go to the store.

I have only owned Canon digital cameras and this was no different except that I got a great price for it!! Of course this is only my 3rd in several years because it is a quality brand. Great size for carrying around to capture those "Hallmark" moments of my kids. The picture quality is great and it's easy to use. The only thing I didn't like at first is that the picture in the LED screen was a little grainy but it doesn't effect the quality of the pic file itself. Great camera!
