I've had a variety of digital cameras over the years: I started out with the super-slim Sony Cybershot (good), moved to the touchscreen Sony Cybsershot (overpriced and underperforming), switched to the Canon family with the now-discontinued SD-790 (amazing camera) and now got this one. It's by far the best camera yet. This camera is amazing! After A LOT of research, and reading one review that said it was the closest you can get to an SLR in a compact, I decided to go with this one and, wow, was that review accurate! This camera takes excellent, professional-quality pictures and, at this price point, it's really an absolute bargain! In addition to beautiful pics, the amazing, huge screen and the ability to highly customize pictures with manual settings are big perks. All in all, GREAT PURCHASE!
I have this camera and Im very happy with it, I carry this camera in my purse everywhere I go, I really like the size. I have a Cannon xsi also and this little camera has a lot of the same features that my xsi has, For a small camera it is great takes great pics. Alot of people have complained about the battery life but I have had no problems with. I recomend this camera highly.
