what a nice camera!
i got this camera for my husband who is a techno caveman. i think this camera will be good for him cause there are actual buttons on the camera that preform functions as opposed to a camera with a touch screen. its small in size....yet it has a tremendous optical zoom for its size. and it uses regular batteries so its always easy to get new ones if you lose the old ones. its definitely a good camera for someone who is a beginner like my husband is. so get it....you wont regret it.

- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? the camera came in new condition as it should. i am very satisfied.

Nice camera just not the one I wnated
I returned it the next day for the features that were motivating a purchase were missing on this camera. I had been price shopping for a particular modle and I thought this was it. Boy was I wrong. No viewfinder, no rechargable battery for starters so I retured it the next day.

Great Camera
Love My New Camera ..Takes Great Pictures and Easy to Use .. It Has a Hints that come up while using to help You ..Love that Feature .. For the Price Great Camera Have No Complaints Really .. Only Downfall is I wish it was Re Chargeable Like my Sony Was .. Plan on getting some Re Chargeable Batteries for it .

Camera is easy enough to use
I like this camera a lot. It takes great pictures. I haven't taken that many yet, but the pictures I have taken have been great. They make even me look more photogenic. A couple of things you should know about though before making this purchase. One; the camera comes with AA batteries but no memory card. No where do I remember the site saying I would have to buy memory. I ended up paying about $15.00 for mediocre memory the next day. Also, it only comes with a very basic get you started instruction manual. If you want the full manual, you have to insert the disk and print in out from a PDF file (75 pages or so). I'm sure Canon would be damned if they printed it out or damned if they didn't, I'm just letting you know in case that's important to you. I'm glad I made this purchase though. I would recommend paying the extra money for this type of camera.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED
I RECEIVED IT AND THEN WANTED TO RETURN ONLY BECAUSE I MADE A HASTY PURCHASE AND REGRETTED SPENDING THE MONEY. HOWEVER, I DECIDED TO USE IT AND KEEP IT AND PURCHASED THE PRINTER, INK AND PAPER FOR THE CAMERA AND AM NOW VERY PLEASED. THE RESOLUTION AND ZOOM IS EXCELLENT.
