I wanted something I could take great pics of my 8 month old- and he's always in motion! This camera is perfect for that- and I can't say enough about the battery! I used it for three days (often with the flash), and took over 300 pics without having to recharge. It takes just a short time to plug in and charge right back up, and I'm thinking it'll pay for itself with this battery in no time! My only complaint is that the pretty, sleek red finish scratches VERY easily- and mine already has a few places on it, although I have been VERY careful with it! You would think they'd spend a bit more time on the finish! Other than that- it's definitely a keeper so far!

We have used the camera on a trip, attending 2 baseball games, soccer games and Halloween and we are amazed at the clarity of the pictures and the vivid colors. For once I thoroughly read the entire manual before attempting to operate it which made taking pictures so much, much easier! We love the camera for the size, how convenient to carry around! Have absolutely nothing to suggest for improvements, this is a fantastic camera!!

Nice camera for the price. Very small and light so it's perfect for your purse or pocket. I've used it in various lighting and the photos have turned out well. Being a tech spaz, this is overall easy to use. The only thing that's difficult to work is the on/off button. I have to use my finger nail to push it.

I was looking for a camera with a long battery life per charge, this is doing a good job. I love the color although that didn't mean anything in the long run. It's small and slim, takes good point and shoot photos, the quality is nice. It does as well as my old camera that was wearing out. If you want a reliable point and shoot that will take a lot of photos with good definition and easy use that's easy to carry and find due to the red color, this could be your new camera.

This camera is awesome. It is fast and takes excellent photos. It was purchased for my daughter's 15th b-day and she loves it. The small size makes it easy to carry. Also the automated features are great. The face detection works better than expected. Haven't tried the video on tv yet but plan to do so. Video playback on the camera is high quality.

I liked the size of this camera. It fit my hands, my pockets and my purse very nicely. The 12 megapixels are good because I tend to make 8x10's of some of my photos and this makes them sharp. Controls are easy for me since I am not a camera pro or techie. Plus, I liked the red color!

I bought this camera with a money I recieved for Christmas. I absolutely love it. It is as small as my cell phone and is easy to carry anywhere without much space. I also purchased the 8GB memory disk which will hold approximately 2500 pictures. It is a great little camera and well worth the price. The only drawback is that it is so small, it is difficut for me to see the small information to enter the different settings.

I bought this camera without every seeing one in person, but I was not disappointed! It is great- especially the setting for "kids and pets"- there is no delay from the time you hit the button and the time it actually takes the picture, so you never miss those great pics. It is also very tiny and a great color. Great for me- might be a challenge for people with bigger hands, as the buttons are pretty small and close together.

I have owned this camera 6 months and it has aleady stopped working, while on vacation, the lens stayed open and the camera would no longer power on. I returned it to Canon for warranty service and just received an email telling me it's not covered under the warranty. They want approx $150 to repair it. I would never but a Canon camera again. This is unacceptable.

I purchased this camera for my fiance for Christmas. Before buying I viewed the ratings on CNET. In witch they were very good for this size camera. My fiance boast about the ease of operation and the quality pictures it takes even in low lighting. All in all she absolutely loves it. I love the price I got here on Overstock!

Great pictures, easy to use, good features best small camera i have had yet!

I bought this camera for a vacation I was taking. I wanted something that could take beautiful pictures, but that would be small enough for me to easily stash while sightseeing. With the Canon PowerShot I got everything I was looking for and so much more. With 12.1-megapixels, the quality and clarity of the pictures I took was absolutely incredible and the built in stabilizer allowed me to optimize the picture taking. I don't think I had a bad picture in the bunch, with nothing shaky or out of focus (due to user error). Kudos to Canon for a great pratical all-purpose camera.

I have been looking for a small camera with HD video mode for under $200 and this one fit the profile perfectly. When I saw it in person, it was even smaller than I thought. Picture quality outdoors and low light is better than I thought. I've taken pics in bright light and shadows and the details in the shadow are not lost. Only reason it didn't get a 5 star rating is because it uses an older less efficient compression MOV format for HD movies. This gets you about 45min recording time with an 8gb SDHC card. However, you can get a 16gb SDHC card for under $30 these days so not too bad (make sure at least Class 4 speed rating). Great little camera and I recommend it to anyone who need the compact-ness on the go.

I've only had the camera for a very short amount of time. I have not used all the features this camera has to offer but the ones I have used, I am very pleased with. For the money, you can't beat the convenience of this little wonder!
