Amazing little camera
Seriously, for the price this thing is AMAZING. I have always liked the Digital Elph series but this one blows all the others away in quality. I also use a Canon 35mm SLR and a Canon digital SLR. I can't speak highly enough of this amazing little device. The picture quality and video quality paired with the outstanding image stabilization while using the video function make this camera well worth at least twice it's asking price. Please DO NOT HESITATE to buy this camera, you will not be disappointed. (The person who rated this 1 star obviously has no idea what they are talking about)

Great point and shoot camera
Our dog chewed our old Canon that we had for 4 years so we bought this Canon and we love it. Hopefully the dog doesn't get it again! Canon makes a great camera so don't bother with the other brands. Not familiar with all the features yet but I can say that it is a great point and shoot camera.

This camera is fantastic! the quality of the photos is like no other camera we've used. We've had three casio exslims which we LOVED however when needed to replace we thought we would try this one because it was on sale and WOW this camera is amazing. It's small, super simple, and easy to use. It's excellent I highly recommend.

Canon PwerShot ELPH 300HS
I hadn`t bought a camera for several years and needed one that offered a high resolution and other useful functions. This camera is user friendly, fairly easy to figure out, and takes great images. You can edit images right on the camera itself as well as tweaking them later using the software that comes with it. You do have to buy a memory card (they don`t tell you that in the description), and it`s a good idea to buy a case for it - not a big deal. Overall, this camera is very good for the money and I have gotten great results from each shot.

great camera
This camera is wonderful. I misplaced my old cannon powershot, got this one in the mail the same day my other one was found, but loved the new features and bigger screen so now I have two wonderful cannon cameras. The picture quality is great, the functions are easy.

Takes great pictures and the videos are very clear
I bought the Canon 300 to replace one that was of inferior quality. So far the Canon is taking good pictues and videos. We would highly recommend this camera.
