spend more get the 170 this model is like the proto type for the 170 but missing key features. i tried both and treurned the 160 and bought the 170. 160 missing focus stabilizarion and usb plug in for computer retrieval of pics. with the 160 you will have to pull out the micro sd everytime to transfer to computer. difficult if u have arthritis.

I am looking for a light weight cannon like my daughter has because my Kodak is too heavy to carry around while walking a lot. My dtr has the red cannon power shot . I am pretty sure it is 18 or 20 MP . She was able get a terrific picture of an elk a very long distance away that was so clear you would think she was standing next to it. It uses a SD card and has a charger. Bought it in Minn. at Best Buy for about $***. Do you have it
