Excellent Camera with easy set up!
Spent a couple of days on several sites searching for a camera to purchase as a gift before selecting this camera and an SD card. Taking into account what my father's previous camera features were, some type of motion correction and the cost, this camera was the perfect fit! I wanted to have the camera ready and operational when the gift was opened, so I charged the camera, took a few pictures and added many more to the SD card. My father was very pleased with the camera and we found him a carrying case the next day!

Canon proves it's reputation
I had purchased a high end Nikon just weeks before and I hated it, sent it to the factory for repair of the blurry pictures and still came back terrible. A friend recommended the Canon PowerShot 16.1 and I bough it. WOW! I should have done this long ago. Picture quality is right on and price was unbelievably low for such a camera. Don't hesitate to purchase this one. It's a winner in my book.
