Great Purchase
I was looking for a digital camera that would be easy to operate and give me a really good picture at a price I could afford. The only thing that surprised me was that I did have to purchase a memory card and usually the cameras come with at least a little one. I would have been able to use teh camera as soon as I received it if I had recieved a memory card with it.

vry happy with this camers
I bought this for my 15 year old neice. She is just getting into taking pictures and wanted a better camera. I'm always happy with canon products. This is a very nice little camera

ok, but has some drawbacks
You get what you pay for. On the one hand it is a Canon camera but it is clearly an end-of-the-line product. Haven't developed any of the pictures yet, so can't speak to that but this is what I've noticed so far: takes a while before you can take a second shot, poor screen quality (pictures taken on another camera looked worse on the screen of this camera), will blur while it's focusing and if you snap a shot then, it is blurry. Still if you are just looking for a decent, cheaper camera, it works well for the price.
